I have always loved the deli department especially because I've always been able to get homeade grinders freshly made with the kind of lunch meat my husband and I love. It's nice to know that you can go somewhere close to home and get a nice lunch on the go. For us it's an easy meal when we are in a hurry.
So to bring me to my topic. Recently I've been to two different stores and have been told for one reason or another that it couldn't be done, once they said they forgot to take the bread out of the freezer and I can't remember what the other reason was. But besides the fact that they wouldn't make the grinders they talked to me like I was asking them to do something that was not part of their job description. I feel even though I love your stores I may actually have to find somewhere else to shop. I'm very
Well maintained location. Friendly people. Better selection than RI locations.
Very convenient location, but buyer beware to check all dates on all goods. I took a photo of 3 cans found expired over a year. The stock is also not as comprehensive as other grocery stores and pricing labels are often missing.
I've been using Stop and Shop as my main grocery store ever since I moved here from pittsburgh, PA back in the 90's.
The store was clean, stocked for the most part (certain items were out), and workers were friendly! The only negative was shopping carts in the parking spots. That is the customers fault but the store should be be on top of it too.
And let's face it we are older and its not as easy for us to find food we can actually eat that we like at the same time.
Great supermarket, and they are always super nice. I wish they had findlandia Swiss cheese so I wouldn't have to go anywhere else.
Sincerely discouraged.
Disappointed. I have even considered that the person was having a bad day, but then it happened again at another store, so I'm forced to base my decision on both my experiences... I would hate to have to change stores over something so miniscule. But unless this get resolved that's exactly what I will do. And I'm in here 3 to 4 times a week. And I also have used the store for my catering buisness. If I am wrong and this is not part of their job description I sincerely apologize.
