Poor excuse for a beach. Mind you I come from South Florida where beaches are nicer. But with so much Coastline you would think there is at least a decent public beach in Mystic Connecticut. There is not. Go to Rhode Island.
Small beach with no entry or parking fee. Playground and picnic tables. Entrance is not visible from the street. The only way to get there is through the YMCA 1 Harry Austin Dr Mystic Ct.
This beach is a tiny afterthought behind the local YMCA. Shouldn't even be called a beach. Pretty disappointing.
Tiny, quiet. Playground, beach, bathrooms on other side of ball field.
Not the most scenic, but free and good for kids, with playground next to it.
